| Barn-Burner |   | | Barn-Burner is a site designed with hockey fans in mind. The site offers a fun fantasy game that is updated daily during the Stanley Cup playoffs. The site also has a blogging feature with integrated facebook comments. All the elements of the site, including the administration were completely created from start to finish using PHP and mysql. Some administration functions utilize AJAX controls and there are several other javasscript elements in the site. Barn-Burners registration system was created specifically for the site using email verification. The fantasy game was designed from scratch as well, as the game takes a different twist than most other fantasy games out there. The fantasy points, standings, etc are calculated on the backend as soon as the stats are updated. Barn-Burner is an ongoing project, please check back to see it progress annually. |
